I'm gonna miss this beautiful town. And the nice weather too. But I miss my car more than that! Walking around the town was alright - actually somewhat enjoyable - but walking a couple miles to the train station with all my stuff was not really fun at all.

I was holding two jobs and a class on the top of those, and I'm a bit burnt out. I was planning to take one more class during the summer 2, but I dropped it. I would like to take some break. Working (only!) 40 hours/week or so ;)

Ugh, I'm gonna suffer from the heat for a while.

This is the first time that I've ever done mountain biking! It was really hard to ride on rocks. It puts heavy stress on not only my wrists but also all over the arms up to the shoulders. Another scary thing was cactus. Especially, cacti on a steep heel beside corners were the most scary things. I'll take picture of them next time.

I got a flat tire (rear one) :( I should have to seal my tubes before this kind of aggressive riding.

I won't state all the instructions to make this because you'll be able to figure out pretty easily how to make it if you purchase Pasta Roni.

Prepare several parts of chicken. You can do this with any part of chicken as you wish. I bought "drumsticks" just because they are relatively cheap. Put salt and black pepper on them, and let it stay about 20-30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350F

Place the prepared chickens on baking sheet, and heat about 30 minutes. Turn the chickens over halfway thought the heating time if you want.

While the chickens are being prepared, I'm gonna make another one. I'm using "Rice Roni - chicken flavor".

Prepare two tablespoons of butter, margarine or spread with no trans fat. I'm gonna use butter. Put the butter in a pot and heat to melt. Combine rice-vermicelli mix and saute over medium heat until the vermicelli is golden brown, stirring frequently.

Slowly stir in two and half cups of water and the given seasonings in the package. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender. If you heat until you don't see liquid in the pot, it should be enough.

Almost done.

All set! Serve with some tomatoes, salad or whatever you want.

다음주부터는 일 시작하니까 이렇게 신나게 노는것도 오늘이 마지막이다. 다음에 또 만나염~

바베큐 그릴에 구워먹을까 하고 생각해봤는데 그렇게 하려면 장작도 사야되고 이것저것 귀찮은 일이 많아서 그냥 후라이팬에 굽기로 했습니다. 소금, 후추 이외엔 아무것도 사용하지 않습니다.

중간(medium)정도로 익혀줍니다. 취향에 따라서 덜 익히거나(rare) 더 익혀도(well-done) 됩니다. 참고로 많이 익힐수록 고기가 단단해집니다.

버섯 역시 소금 이외에는 아무것도 사용하지 않고 익혀줍니다.

이건 후식입니다.

먼저, 베이컨을 잘게 썰어서 익혀줍니다.

계란을 3개 정도 풀어서 팬 위에 부어줍니다. 고체가 된 부분을 들어주면 액체가 그 밑으로 스며들면서 고체로 변합니다. 모두 고체가 될 때가지 이 과정을 반복합니다.

취향에 따라서 감자, 파, 양파 등을 함께 넣어도 됩니다. 이러한 재료들은 계란을 풀기 전에 미리 익혀줘야 합니다. 오믈렛이 완성된 후 잘게 썰어진 체다 치즈 등을 얹으면 더 좋습니다.

개판오분전이라는 단어가 참 잘 어울리는 책상이다.

금요일 오후에 낮잠을 자고 있었는데 어떤색히가 전화질을 하는 바람에 잠에서 깼다. CCIT 였다. 전화번호를 하나 알려주더니 그쪽으로 전화해서 보고하랜다. 전화번호 하나 알아내는데 사흘이나 걸렸니? 전화해서 상황을 설명하니까 헛소리를 마구 늘어놓기 시작한다.

헛소리를 멈출 생각을 안하길래 그냥 전화번호나 불러달라고 해서 나중에 다시 전화하겠다고 하고 끊었다. 알려준 전화번호로 전화를 해보니 이노무색히들이 전화를 받을 생각을 안한다. 로비에 나와서 유선으로 연결한 다음 아까 통화했던 번호로 다시 전화했다.

나: Nobody picks up the phone. Agent: They should. They work until six. I think you should keep calling. 나: By the way, my computer turned out to be working. You should see my computer got an IP address.

그제서야 내 컴퓨터(정확히 말하면 네트워크 인터페이스 카드)에 문제가 없다는걸 믿는 눈치였다. 어떤 부분이 문제인지 확실히 짚고 넘어가고 싶은 마음을 이해하지 못하는건 아니지만 답답했던건 사실이다.

그동안은 옆방에 사는 Glen 이 자신의 무선 네트워크를 사용할 수 있도록 암호화 키를 제공해줘서 그럭저럭 살고 있었지만, 유선 회선의 빠른 속도의 유혹을 참지 못하고 결국 배선 공사를 해버렸다.
